Castle Farm Holiday Park
Our Dinas Cross holiday park, Castle Farm, occupies a prime elevated position between the coast and the Preseli hills. The caravan park consists of only 9 caravans in approximately 25 acres. In the relatively recent past it was a small-holding which farmed the fields attached to the park, and going back much further there are indications that it may have contained a fortified settlement (Castell), hence the name. Most pitches have sea-views over to Fishguard Harbour and beyond. This is a quality park with small numbers, situated in large grounds, making it an exclusive location for your next holiday home.
There is easy access to the Coastal Path and the many delightful coves and sandy beaches scattered along the spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline. For example, the views below are of Cwm yr Eglwys and Pwllgwaelod which are two of the small beaches in Dinas Cross.
This delightful cove (next two photos below) is Aberbach, Dinas Cross. Only a brief walk from the park.
Alternatively, as the village of Dinas Cross nestles between the Preselis and the coast, exploring these hills is just a matter of joining the footpath that wanders through the park.
The village of Dinas Cross offers several Pubs with good eating. Just a few miles away in either direction a wider variety of shopping and eating can be found in the picturesque coastal towns of Fishguard or Newport. Day trips to Ireland are available from Fishguard, and locally there is an adjacent tennis court and other activities such as pony-trekking and golf are nearby.
