Our Newgale Coast Holiday Park’s central coastal location is ideal for holiday goers who want to experience the full amount that the beautiful county of Pembrokeshire has to offer. With that in mind we have curated a list of attractions and events happening over the summer that are all within a reasonable driving distance from our Newgale Park!
Pointz Castle Ice Cream Parlour
Just up the road from our Newgale park is Pointz Castle ice cream parlour. What makes Pointz Castle unique is that it is located on a dairy farm so they produce their own milk which is used in their freshly made ice-cream. This gives their delicious ice cream a freshness that you won’t get anywhere else. They also offer a larger variety of flavours, which is constantly changing, so there is something for everyone. Learn more about their freshly-made ice cream.
Wildwater Sauna – Newgale Beach
Tucked right on the edge of Newgale Beach, the Wild Sauna offers a unique way to relax with unbeatable sea views. This wood-fired, beachside sauna is open throughout the summer until the end of August and is perfect after a surf, swim, or coastal walk. Listed as one of the UK’s best saunas by the sea, they travel along the Pembrokeshire coastline, offering a truly unique immersive experience, harnessing the powers of hot/cold exposure whilst deepening our connection with nature. Step from the soothing heat straight into the fresh sea air — or even the sea if you’re feeling brave. Learn more and how to book.
Visit Solva
Another great way to spend the summer is visiting local towns and villages. Solva is a charming harbour village ideal for a relaxed afternoon and is only a few minutes drive away from Newgale. Browse the independent shops, grab a bite at one of the cosy cafes or restaurants, and enjoy a stroll along the picturesque quay. It’s one of Pembrokeshire’s prettiest coastal stops.
